Aviation English Language Proficiency (AELP) Examiners

For 16 years, Chimes Aviation Academy (CAA) has been an approved Flying Training Organization (FTO), with operations in Dhana and Neemuch. CAA’s partnership with IndiGo airlines for their Cadet Pilot Program highlights the quality flying training provided. CAA’s parent company, Chimes Aviation Private Limited (CAPL), is an approved Aviation English Language Proficiency (AELP) Training & Testing Service Provider. The Company provides mandatory AELP training to CAA cadets, assessing their proficiency, crucial for obtaining a Commercial Pilot License (CPL) as per International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO) standards.

Position & Responsibilities:

Aviation English Language Proficiency Examiners are responsible for administering tests to evaluate the proficiency level of all cadets in accordance with the regulations set by Indian and International Civil Aviation Authorities.

They will convene 3-4 times per month at CAPL’s office in Gurugram to conduct a maximum of 10 Aviation English Language Proficiency (AELP) tests per day. Each test typically lasts approximately 30 minutes.

Qualifications:

Aviation English Language Proficiency Examiner (Language Expert):

M.A. Degree in English with minimum of 5 years’ of teaching experience.

Aviation English Language Proficiency Examiner (Subject Matter Expert):

Pilots who hold or have held a CPL/ATPL with AELP Level 6, with a minimum of 5 years’ experience in aviation. Serving or retired Air traffic controllers with AELP Level 6 are also eligible.

Type of Engagement:

All positions mentioned above are part-time.

Remuneration:

A suitable compensation on pro-rata basis shall be provided.
